Sonia & Mark Whitesnow: Photography

The serenity of the pale whiteness fills this seemingly empty playground with a sense of sadness for the doll-like sitters. The only liberation from the serene environment appears to be the wonderfully coloured sphere that is often the only friend of a particular sitter. As her gaze wanders into a dreamlike state, her backdrop becomes mistier and foggier, as if by her will to dream of something more vibrant is gradually being granted.
