It can be said that the despondent nature of many of these snaps is developed through the content and colour gravitating towards being cold and pensive. The small ornament that might be a brooch with a very beautifully decorated deer printed on, is held by what could be the lookers hand - putting us precisely in the shoes of who we might initially think is the sitter - when in fact it appears intended that we ourselves have been indirectly invited to be the sitter. And in doing so, we are looking upon this ornament as if it evokes a deep and meaningful memory…
