Julian De Narvaez: Art

I only wish there was an animated cartoon series based on the narratives created in Julian De Narvaez's inventive illustrations. So much detail is devoted to each piece; I notice as a friendly looking bear with a lamp approaches a defunct human in a full body suit, the skies are created with a beautiful two tone effect which enhances the splendour of the planets or moons - making it much more believable. Julian's illustrations are not only rare and unusual but fresh and imaginative. The colours are beautifully co-ordinated, consistent and I get a real feel that these are the works of a person who truly believes in the ideas put into these images, even though they do appear fictitious - I believe they represent more than just imagination. I think they might be metaphors...
